Toolkit
Guidelines for Starting Up Successful, Strong, Viable and Model Cooperatives in Uganda
These practical guidelines come from MTIC's Department of Cooperative Development. They take founders through forming a cooperative: what a cooperative is, the values and principles it should follow, preparing by-laws, registration steps, and the governance and management arrangements that keep a society viable. They suit community groups thinking about registering, including PDM and Emyooga groups considering a move to full cooperative status, and district commercial officers who advise them.
