Emyooga – Presidential Initiative on Wealth and Job Creation: Implementation Guidelines 2023

Emyooga, the Presidential Initiative on Wealth and Job Creation approved by Cabinet in 2019, funds constituency-based SACCOs organised around specific trades such as boda-boda riders, market vendors and artisans. The 2023 guidelines explain how government capitalises Emyooga SACCOs, the legal and regulatory framework they work under, the delivery model led by the Microfinance Support Centre, and the stages from mobilisation through lending to monitoring.
